Last bar i had wasnt up to much. It was ok but as you say didnt have the rich flavour.

Caramac was always disgusting. Nearly as bad as Milky Bar.

Who makes Caramac? If it is Cadbury, then with the take over by Kraft (or whoever it is), quality has fallen.

(One good thing being part of the EU brought about was the very high standards imposed on food quality. Standards are far lower in the US.)

I suffered the Caramac disappointment too. I would describe it as sugary earwax.

Absolutely correct: they are a vile outfit directly responsible for the death of large numbers of infants in the developing world through their aggressive marketing of baby formula to poor mothers. When mothers use baby formula rather than breast feed their babies they expose them to the risks of infection due the fact that they cannot maintain the sterility of the feeding process. There are other factors involved, of course, and further details can be found here: http://www.babymilkaction.org/nestlefree#overview

Problem is that it is easy to unwittingly buy Nestle products. This site helps those wishing to avoid buying Nestle know which products to avoid: http://www.nestle.co.uk/brands
