Perhaps the stand out quality of the rock according to reviewers is it's substantial and rock solid bass performance which was said to outperform any other deck. What do you think?

I intend to try and pick up a rock after summer as a back up to my DD SP10. Any thoughts would be useful....

the bass is certainly good, but the real magic is when you use the damping trough,it just brings out more detail imo
