    Still looking great Bourney, hope it's ticking the right boxes for you mate, Amperex tubes work best for the small signal valves, I enjoyed my time with this amp that's for sure, I almost kept it for a second system

    I've just used it with the valves that Chris left in. I'm impressed so far mate. Seems to strike a good balance between subtlety and solidity and punch.

    They look like they could do some damage, lots of speaker for sixty quid.

    Close, but that's is not true D'Appolito configuration which requires vertical inline driver alignment.

    D'Appolito was far from being the first person to use this type of design in any case.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
