Default Recalling my old Squeezebox Problems.

Just thinking about how Spotify seemed to be the bugbear on the SBT, but, as the Naim Muso that replaced my ‘real’hifi has it built in, thought no more about it.

That is, until a very familiar pattern started to emerge, each time I was listening via Spotify, songs would suddenly stop, and very often the device I was controlling the Muso from, an app on either My iPad or iPhone would often not connect to it!

After many discussions with both Naim, and a couple of friendly dealers, no one could solve the issue, so I decided to ditch Spotify in favour of the similarly priced Tidal.

Apart from the very rare problem, the problem seems to have been cured.

Stratmangler or other clever folk, any thoughts on this?

Did you ever move away from using the embedded server on the Touch?
That was your biggest obstacle to things working properly, and I was one of many that advised you repeatedly to do so.

When did your Naim player stop handling Spotify?
It wasn't on the 20th July last year, was it?

    No Chris.

I didn’t get the Muso until shortly before my move south west, so mid November.
