I would agree but having heard both I would consider it worthwhile...Have you heard any Adey?

Thanks for the input Mike. My only concern is that this may lead to auditioning loads of speakers....again.
I've just demo' some Horns Mummy which were initially brilliant but after further listening, not for my room. Made me realise that unless I'm going to spend a good week with a speaker then I'm probably better off sticking with a brand that I've enjoyed for 20 years. Yep, sad. Having said that, I'm intrigued about Odeon speakers ... Especially the Midas model.

    IBX r2

I had the OBXR and Kevin said he could upgrade them to RW's for a nominal amount, these are priced on the high side as I would probably only pay £2k max for IBX's

I have contacted Kevin @ Definitive about upgrading my R2's to RW level but the cost wasn't exactly nominal.
Could you pm me the cost you were quoted please Chris.

I suspect a dead horse is being flogged but I'll try another bump.

After coming pretty close to getting hold of a pair I'm unfortunately having to bump this wanted post again.

    IBX or OBX RW Wanted

Actually, if you think you have something better then let me know .... Less than Rooney wage (day rate) though

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around

    Cheers Phil,
I have been in touch with Fourlegs. Unfortunately they're a bit too pricey for me at this time. Realistically, I think I'll be looking at earlier models of the OBX-RW's unless someone is selling a pair of IBX-RW3.
Thanks for the link though, cheers.
