Default DENON 103m - diamond type

The diamond on the 103m is described as elliptical and that's as far as it goes. I'd like to work out the diamonds 'r' value which is an indicator of how much groove width the diamond occupies on a slab of vinyl. So does anyone know the type of elliptical cut for the 103m?

Denon is weird about their tips, usually only providing the shank size which doesn't tell anything about the actual tip. But when they say "special elliptical" like with the DL-103M, I think it might actually be a line-contact of some sort. Whether it's a line contact or not, my *guess* for minor radius would be along the lines of 0.2mil (6µm) but that's purely a guess.

The 301-Mk2 is a 'special elliptical' or as some suggest a line contact too. You are correct; info is sparse on Denon stylus profiles.
