    Default Munich Hi-Fi Show 2017

I'm going this year all booked up 4 days in Munich.

Expect loads of pics and videos which will NOT be hosted on YouTube.

Until then... make do with this little soft porn pleasure...

fab , hope you enjoy justin
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

Actually so many people posting on it these days it isn't worth the effort it used to be back in 2011 when I first covered it and not many other people did. Now everyone is in on it.

But will be there tomorrow nonetheless. My media will be late coming suggest surfing elsewhere til then.

Someday I would like to go to the show, but I don't speak German and the last time I was there (at a wedding), if it hadn't been for a friend speaking German I would have been stuck.

Erm, haven't you heard of a dictionary or phrase book, daftee?

It would be very unusual too, based on my experience of visiting Germany, for no-one there to speak any English (as it's very much an English speaking country)... In any case, with a bit of effort, you'll always get by!

When i was there a German in hotel, who was barman/chef, said if i come across anyone who doesnt speak enough English to get by, then not to waste my time trying to converse as he will be not worth talking to He said this and meant it.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    Lol... Indeed.

I've been to Germany umpteen times, and to various different parts of the country, and NEVER had an issue with folk not being able to speak English. The same applies in Austria, where we were last year. In fact, English is taught there in all their schools!

In any case, for me (if I don't already speak it), learning some words of a new language, in order to communicate with locals, is all part of the fun of travelling abroad
