Pretty average show this year I felt, not much really that much to appeal to the average guy who could really wish to buy currently, plenty of uber high end porn that failed to deliver sonic-ally.

Did anyone venture in to the Westminster labs room at all? Didn't get a chance to drop in, anyone do so?

Certainly not as busy as last year (visitor wise) Saturday was busy in spurts.

Spent a good 30 minutes on the Marten room on Sunday (the one with the Whest phono stage and Belcanto Black set up), not a fan of Black series equipment, but on the tracks they played Sunday afternoon it easily outshone the TT set up with the valves which sounded thin and quite brittle at the top, then they swapped to the digital, this sounded more analogue than the analogue set up. not sure what quite was going on though my suspicions would fall at the door of the Whest phono stage, having heard this before in quite a few systems, there is a sonic signature it seems to have.

Was expecting better things from this set up, Potato Potatoe as our US part time friends would say.

More attention given to room dressings this year though.

Too many meetings mind you thirty in four days
    Coherent Systems
Real high end sound with musicality not hifi

It has a certain Italian look, sumptuous and somewhat decadent.

Hm the video is a lot cooler than the film methinks. Quite like the music on the video too.
