Anyone recommend a good magnifying glass that gets right up and in there (really lets you see) when setting up the cartridge and using protractor - hand held ?

My eyes are not too bad but I really like to get things set as optimum as I can when it comes to cart set up, it can be the difference and is very important, more important than some people give attention to.
It's nice to be able to see the stylus tip sitting perfectly at the desired points on the protractor.
I'm planning ahead of the SR7 being ready and the triple stage regs installed which is when It'll be time to fit the Cadenza Black and the real long overdue fun starts been one long long journey but not long now hopefully

no worries, just a thought,i dont use it for lining up in the grid only to get the stylus to follow the arc, they are no use for lining up in the grid as the view is distorted, for that i use those head band type where you can change the lenses.

I use a magnifier glass for inspevpcting PCBs and linen.
You will find it difficult to see much with the 20x and 40x magnifiers as there in focus spot is quite limited.

I'm Dave.
I bought one of those magnifying headset jobbies with binocular lenses and a built in LED lamp. Totally useless as the sweetspot where it focused was so tiny that it was always blurred unless my nose was touching the item viewed.
