    Can i connect speakers to amps if woofers are removed?

    I presume i musn’t let tne loose internal wires touch +ve to -ve (sm8lat to speaker cables).

    Don't send a full bandwidth signal to the tweeters or you'll blow them.

    if the crossovers are still in place you'll be fine.

    Crossovers are in place.
    Only tne woofers have been removed for refoamng.

    Just thought it would be a good time to check tne tweeters out with no woofer noise.

    Don't let the wires that would connect to the woofer touch each other when testing.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Start low and ease into the volume, if something isn’t right hopefully you’ll hear it before anything bad can happen. But you should be fine, it sounds safe enough.

    I am more worried about the amp , it may go from maybe 8 ohms down to a 3 or 4 ohm load with out a resister in place between the leads for the absent woofer.
    It may be to much for the amp if left to play for very long. What Grant said basically.

    Put a 4 ohm 5 watt resistor on the end of each speaker lead and connect the other end of the resistors to the speaker terminals. It won't do anything for the sound quality, but it'll tell you what's working and the amp will be safe if anything in the speakers shorts out.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
