A vote in the affirmative from me.

(title could do with a rethink though)
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

It's a resounding yes from me.

I don't want to get into a heated debate but I'd say I've heard some cables sap all dynamics and detail, whereas in other speakers the speaker cables are ok, with everything the same except the speakers. But I have used very basic 99p eBay cables and I'd say dedidicated hi fi cables of good quality (but not necessarily expense) make a good difference.

I'd share this too- there is a very big forum and review site at the moment (no names mentioned) whose owner and editorial team do not believe quality hi fi cables make a difference to the listening experience. I was dumbfounded as to this.

If you asked this question in a poll to a thousand people, to get a very good representative answer, aside from all the arguments about bias and double blind etc, I suspect the overwhelming majority would answer yes. Most sensible people I think know this to be the case already.

Cables make a huge difference for the better....the higher end the gear..the returns get less...but the improvements are still there...imho.

Of course cables make a difference to your listening experience. Without them you get silence, with them you get sounds.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
