Sorry I called you by your tag name earlier too, habit of the other forum.
But I agree with you as to your approach.
I think I'm going to post lots about music on this forum to get ideas and hi fi when I know a bit about it.
But I agree with you about Sussex police. A dodgy lot and did you know that many of their current employees have criminal records. I know that one Sussex police officer stabbed his son by accident when inappropriately showing him how gladiators fight. He carried on in the police for 8 years as a bobby on the beat. There is another guy working for sp who ran into a lady and killed her at Gatwick with his car, but he carried on with the force. Also the guy who shared porn to colleagues last year and was fired was reinstated. The ex chief constable left under tenuous circumstances and on a police pension, and then what happened to Duncan Tomlin in Haywards Heath a few years ago. Police officers carried on for a few years before charges dropped. I read a lot about police misgivings because I just wonder how much worse it actually is when much of it is hidden. The current police crime commissioner is being investigated by the Ipcc for electoral fraud. Sussex police investigate 90 percent of cases on 'local resolution' which means people don't have the right of appeal to the ipcc. This is something that needs to change and why police corruption is rife because they are a law unto themseves deciding which cases they let run to the ipcc is a huge abuse of power. Bw Simon

I think that's admirable Marco but I would be a bit careful especially if you are dealing with people who have probably got resources like a doctor etc, and probably have solicitor friends. If it came to him being able to show that your actions caused him loosing his job, granted it's down to him, he could potentially go down the libel/slander route.

Sometimes you've got to take a stand against these people, or as Scoobs has said, they then see it as a green light to go and do the same to someone else, who's only 'crime' is that they're different (and in many ways better) than they are, so the trolls are punishing others because of their jealousy.

The incident I'm referring to happened many years ago, so is done and dusted now. Also, in terms of resources, my own aren't exactly lacking in substance either The guy concerned had been giving me unjustified dog's abuse for years, so I had ample saved evidence to sue him for harassment. Therefore, 'two can tango', as it were.

Anyway, more importantly, are you feeling any better now you've been given a vehicle to get all this stuff off of your chest? You certainly seem to have settled in nicely

Yes thanks I've been gymming it a lot but my job situation is still dire, but it's nice to chat to people online and that helps a lot. And anyone wants advice on the type of kit I have, fire away...
I'm going to be more relaxed with forums as maybe I wasn't doing myself favours on that other one.

You seem to want to be respected. Ignore this: respect is earned and cannot be forced out of others or demanded, in fact you would do better to keep quiet about it. Have you ever thought why so many people do not respect you?

No, it's not about respect; it's about courtesy and CIVILITY, something that due to your arrogance, poor upbringing and incorrect assumption that you can behave how you like towards people, is an alien concept. Well, I'm not like others who will simply just put up with it. I actively *address* bad manners! Here's a scenario for you:

If while walking along the street, you accidentally bump into someone, is your reaction to immediately apologise for being clumsy, or do you just give them a filthy look, as if they shouldn't have been in your way?

Your selfish, abrasive and inconsiderate behaviour to date, towards others, indicates the latter, and that's why folk of your ilk are ultimately banned from places like AoS.

Quite simply, we don't tolerate people like you - and *that* irks you beyond belief (as you've been FORCED from doing what you want), which is why others and you, who've been guilty of the same behaviour here in the past, and banned for it [your 'master' on the midden is the prime example], then subsequently engage in a campaign of retaliation, ridiculously considering yourself as 'hard done to', when you only have yourselves and your insufferable behaviour to blame!

It's about affording people due courtesy and civility, as a matter of course, from day one of meeting them, even before getting to know them, or whether you might like them or not, something neither you nor your 'master' did when you were on AoS; indeed you did precisely the opposite, which is ultimately why you were banned.

Having such courtesy and civility shown towards me is how not only I expect to be treated in real life (and am), but also on-line, and *everyone* deserves the same, which is why control is put into place here to ensure that it happens, and you hate that. Well, here's the news, sweetheart, too bad. It's high time you dried your eyes and got over it.

Well get this: I don't see them as "people", but simply faceless [often nameless] Internet entities, as in reality that's all they are, so why should I care a jot about what they think...??

I don't go on forums to be liked (I've got plenty of good friends in real life, so I don't need to be liked); I go on them to be myself and discuss hi-fi, in my inimitable style, and if some folk don't like that or ME, then fuck them, that's *their* problem, not mine.
