Also Simon regarding the police, in my last 13 years of trouble with my neighbour the police have been involved numerously.
A few years ago she accused me of using Hi-Tech recording equipment in my back bedroom to spy on her, and the police called and searched the whole house saying that the criterion was whether or not it 'looked' over the boundary. They found nothing.

The following day she was actually photogtaphing my builder as he worked, over my rear garden fence. I informed the police, who did not even come out even though it was all witnessed.
I have written two letters of complaint to the Chief Constable, two to the IPCC, and three to my MP. The former two have never even replied, and the latter has but two of the three contained fundamental errors of fact.

There are currently 6 Chief Constables under investigation.

I wasn't referring to rhetoric. Note *solely* the contents of the emboldened text. Then understand how I could equally reply: "just because you say it don't make it true"

To save any further embarrassment, I suggest you keep your failed sophistry and flawed logic to yourself. You display all the signs of a classic bully, as you can dish it out, but can't take it back.

    And lastly:

What, you mean as gutless as a worm who posts from behind the safety of a pseudonym, and who unlike those he's attacking, is too scared to reveal his true identity?? Much like 'alfer' and 'vlad dracul': spineless keyboard warriors, who would run a mile from any real-world confrontation, but who may soon be due some overdue karma.

Quim, the day you have the balls to shed your cowardly anonymity and post as a real person, like Martin or me [and display it on your profile], is the day I might afford you some semblance of respect. Until then, you're a 'no mark'.

    Cheerio now

For a troll who brags about his occupation, surely there can't be any other conclusion. IMO you cannot post continually throughout every weekday and continue to do so "on your way home from work" without having stolen the time from your employer. One day the bridge under which the troll hides will be uncovered.

Shouldn't be too hard to find out where he works, and see what his boss thinks, or just pop in and say hello regardless.....

On one forum I used to frequent, someone was mistakenly identified as a university lecturer at a university in Liverpool simply because he shared the same, fairly common, name. He played along with this, boasting about he spent all day in the pub, and sold drugs to his students. He was about to be 'unmasked' by the forum police, when a bit of basic detective work by yours truly showed he couldn't be the lecturer.

Wasn't that an episode of Miss Marple? Sounds like the gist of one.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
