Bargains not on E bay

I have always enjoyed the Bargains thread over on Past Masters , and still do , but being a tight wad , I fail to see where a lot of the bargains are these days on there , and its becoming more a place for chancers and opportunists !!
Coupled with that ,I hate the fact that they are creaming such vast amounts of money off of everyone that use it(albeit with their knowing )!

So having become a more avid fan of Facebook these days (got out of my curmudgion mode for a bit ) I have enjoyed seeing the local marts that spring up on Facebook , great stuff , I love local bargains !! Gumtree is fab too , so any other recommendations from peeps please??

(I know some places not so good for Hi Fi stuff )

Preloved sometimes has some decent stuff on it and the prices are usually lower than ebay
