Hi From West Yorkshire - UK

Just a quick note to introduce myself & say "Hello" to Everyone

My name is Martin & i live in West Yorkshire in the UK
I'me no expert with Hi - Fi but hope to increase my knowledge via this excellent Forum
I like most types of music but especially Prog Rock stuff from the seventies (Genesis/Floyd/Yes/Etc)
I have a large collection of Vinyl which is currently stored in boxes in various locations in my house.
My aim is to eventually purchase some more decent quality equipment so i can start to enjoy my Vinyl again.
I've recently bought a very good used Technics 1210MK2 and am looking to add a few basic upgrades to it so i can use this as a starter deck
before moving on to something with a higher spec.
(Any recommendations from fellow members re - a few basic upgrades to the standard spec Technics would be appreciated)

You can certainly broaden your knowledge here. Members have experience of a vast amount of varying gear. If you have questions, just find the right area and ask away.

If you haven't already, check out the Techiepedia sub forum in the Analogue Arts section. Just about every Techie upgrade that is possible has been listed there.
