Does anyone on here offer a ferro fluid replacement service?
I'll tackle most jobs but this scares me little!! Just want to sure the tweeters on my Kef 104/2's are tip top.
I'm in Milton Keynes
Or I could bring them to you ?

You could speak to Wembley Loudspeakers: http://www.wembleyloudspeaker.com/
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
It helps iF you can find out from the manufacturer precisely which grade Ferrofluid was originally used. See here for the quite extensive range;
https://ferrofluid.ferrotec.com/prod...rofluid-audio/
Parts express supply a 'generic' grade of FERROTEC APG L11, Tannoy specify APG S15 for the DMT tulips and JBL use APG S38 for their (2)435 3" comps so fair to assume the generic grade wouldn't be ideal in at least these 2 cases...

Cheers cooky, I have watched videos but I'm still a little anxious especially as I'm not sure if they even need doing !!
Ferrofluid removed and replenished, the first tweeter took about 20 minutes and the second about 10 minutes and there's a marked improvement though I can't deny that the ole chocolate starfish was well active !!!
