    Default Hello from Portugal

    Hello Everyone,

I now live in the Algarve, Portugal having moved here from UK.

    My system:-

Marantz HD AMP1 Amplifier and matching HD CD1 CD player, both on Oak Cone feet
Dynaudio Emit M10 on Norstone Stylum stands standing on Soundstyle Superspikes.
Tellurium Ultra Blue speaker cables, Atlas Digital Coax, Russ Andrews mains Powercord, RA X2 Distribution Block
RA Yello mains cables (Amp & CD player).

As you can see I've been busy tweeking aiming for a more lifelike and realistic sound which is less harsh and artificial sounding. I'm getting there but there's always one more tweek.

I have about 300 CDs split between classical (lots of baroque) and rock mostly 60s, 70s and 80s. From Altered Images to the Zombies via Beatles, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones.

Looking forward to joining the forum.

    Hi Alain. Welcome to AOS.

Interesting selection of equipment you have there. I'd guess that all works pretty decently together.

If you have further plans for your system, we'd like to hear about them.

There's lots going on here, so take a look around and join in the chat.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
