I'm Chris.
Hi Brian
I am a avid fan of piano, as well where keyboard sounds are used in interesting ways
so thanks for introducing me to this artist.
I would like to share with you the work of John Taylor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygSJLzLzpi4
who I always enjoy, particularly his work with Arild Andersen and his albums on ECM
and Klaus Schultz, here playing the Arp Odessy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmnKI46SHi4
a piece of music I have enjoyed for over 40 years
A high point in composition and texture is Vangelis 1492 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnNFpQLAT5Y
it is a magnificent recording and performance. Although concentrating on a recurring melody it stretches
and melds around sound. Vangelis is a rare artist as he plays all the instruments you hear live - first
heard on his album Direct.
Cheers / Chris
