    Default Kef reference 104/2 IN Kef reference 105/4 OUT

    Finally I have a beautiful matched pair in walnut and mint condition,complete with their original boxes , manuals , sales brochure, warranty card and even the registry card .
    One owner from new .
    Just the dust caps need replacing.
    Now what to do my fantastic 105/4's ???Attachment 19928Attachment 19929Attachment 19930Attachment 19931

    Hi Audio Al . Be careful what you wish for mate ;-)
    They're so bloody good though and once they're gone ....well I've not seen another pair available for a long while.

    The 104/2 do look mint , How does the sound compare ?

    Well there's very little in it but I think the 105/4's have the better soundstage due to the moveable mid/treble unit . The 104/2's definitely go lower and I think the highs could have the too but this may be because they're slightly higher ?
    I always felt that the ONLY negative for the 105/4's was that they're too low on their original castors.
