My mate was having a friends do at a Wetherspoons and the only red they had was Blossom Hill. She had a bitch of a hangover and a migraine the next day.
Few days later shes at NYE party with some posh mates of hers and theyre chuffing back some pricey red and she felt fine the next day.
I suspect there is a lot of chemical shit in the cheap stuff.

If any of you guys like Spanish wine, I can highly recomend Albali Gran Reserva 2001, it's 100% Tempranillo the classic Spanish variety, and is from the valdepenas region.

Now most people only think of Rioja when they think of quality Spanish wine, but honestly that is not the case anymore, and Albali is proof of that, you can get it from Tesco i think. I brought my own supply with me when i moved back from Spain, but the last time i bought it over here Tesco and CoOp was where i got it.

Ive read that sulphites can cause sore throats. Hard to avoid unless you try organic wines.

Sulphites are in cider too, look Andre comes from Yorkshire so the following is true. Brown beer, black pudding, flat caps and tighter than a ducks arse where money is concerned

    *Sorry Andre I couldn't resist*

    black pudding - Lancashire
    flat caps - Lancashire
tighter than a ducks arse where money is concerned - Scots

Lancashire & Yorkshire are very simular in their ways so it's an easy mistake.
