    Default Remote controlled power socket

Can anyone recommend a remote control power socket for a power-hungry integrated amplifier (Nu Vista 800) that won't affect sound quality?
I confess to being one who believes in the benefits of sensibly-priced power cables, and adding an additional device in the chain doesn't sit comfortably with me.

I have been looking for similar. Belkin used to produce a suitable unit but that seems to have been discontinued.

Good find though it's not surprising they have stocks given that price. May bite the bullet anyway to save having to perform a geriatric limbo to turn my monoblocks on and off!

I used a Masterplug remote control socket with my turntable and it worked very well. Battery lasted for ages.

My mains block is more accessible now so I don't use it.
