Remote controlled power socket
Can anyone recommend a remote control power socket for a power-hungry integrated amplifier (Nu Vista 800) that won't affect sound quality?
I confess to being one who believes in the benefits of sensibly-priced power cables, and adding an additional device in the chain doesn't sit comfortably with me.

I have been looking for similar. Belkin used to produce a suitable unit but that seems to have been discontinued.

thought that was the type you wanted. schuko.. ah well... my big Belkin box is what I use. has 10 sockets on back and a switch on front. has filters in but guess you could disable them if you wanted... they come up from time to time.Oooooops! Just realised it's a US socket type!

I used a Masterplug remote control socket with my turntable and it worked very well. Battery lasted for ages.
