    Default Hello

Hi, I live near Ilkley in Yorkshire and I am currently slowly pulling together a system.

After being happy with streaming from my iPhone for ages, I was recently blown away by the the difference in sound you can get from flacs. My system is a cobbled together at the moment and includes b&w 683 s2, technics 1210 mk2, vestax mixer, rotel power amp, blue sound node2, audiolab 8200 cdq and a roon core on a pc.

I'm looking for a new amplifier and any advice on the best place to refurbish and service technics decks would be appreciated.

    Martin

    Hello Martin. Welcome to AOS.

You've come to the right place for info on Technics turntables. If you haven't already, take a look through the Techiepedia sub-forum in the Analogue Arts section.

If you want to discuss amplifiers, why not start a thread in the Blank Canvas area and ask some questions. I'm sure members can advise.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
