Moth MKII Pro Record Cleaning Machine For Repair or DIY Build - £150

A bit of an unusual sale this, but a potential bargain for someone.

This “bundle” includes my old Moth MKII Pro Record Cleaning Machine, a brand new replacement motor, brand new vacuum arm, brand new reservoir, felt pads and various other accessories (45 RPM cleaning adapter, label protector, etc).

The original machine has a blown motor and some corrosion to its base. There are three options available:

o The motor can be replaced within the original machine and the bottom sealed as best as possible to repair the machine;
o The relevant parts can be stripped from the existing machine and combined with the new parts a DIY machine can be built (full instructions included);
o Someone may want the bundle for spares for their own machine – the new parts and accessories alone are probably worth well over £100.

I always intended to build a new machine from this kit but I doubt that will happen in the foreseeable future and I’m getting pressure regarding the amount of boxes lying around so it has to go!

A new machine would cost you around £600 and a DIY kit £400.

Please note I liaised with Mike Harris at Moth to get all the spare parts to build a new machine – I’m sure Mike would also assist anyone else as he’s a friendly, helpful chap.

All offered at the bargain price of £150 but buyer needs to collect from me in Reading (not far off M4).
