    Default Crossfeed

As I'm now mostly listening on headphones, I'm thinking I would like to play around with crossfeed circuits to hopefully get a more speaker like experience.

So looking for any information, circuits, experience, advice.

Headphones are not something I involve myself in much really, so the 'crossfeed' term is a new one on me. I'm guessing this amounts to a proportinate or gradual blend of left/right information from the amp output to reduce the channel separation.

Some Hafler type simulated quadraphonic circuits for rear speakers were rather similar.

You get mixed results depending on curcuit and its very music dependant. There are some software ones too. Meier cross1 is supposed to be one of the better ones. Depends if you listen to a lot of music that has instruments coming out of one channel.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
