    I'm Richard.

    Red face Hello from me.

Hello all, my name is Richard and I work in instrumentation as a service engineer. As you can guess, I am interested in electronics, I don't pretend to understand them but I am reasonably good at copying what other people have already done. My main interest at present is portable equipment, I have nowhere free to be able to play with my full sized gear, so the portable stuff is the next best thing. Being of an older generation, I still believe in the joy of valves, not that there is anything wrong with IC's but valves are the real thing..... Again because I am older, I tend to be more focused on my preferences, Led Zep, The Nice, Pink Floyd but also a few more modern, like IQ, Nightwish and so forth.

    Hi Richard. Welcome to AOS.

There's always an interest in valve gear here, so you'll be in good company.

Tell us what equipment you use and if you have any plans for it.

Feel free to get involved and chat with the members, they're a friendly bunch!

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
