Finally! I was worried for you a while there! I had a CD player that matched it perfectly. Gave it to a friend. It was a Sony CDP608ESD, I used it for 29 years! Hard to find such quality these days.

what a relief this is for me, now that it's sold.
I have (I like to believe) a somehow similar amp, the Pioneer A-757 mkII, in perfect, as new condition, and I love it!
