I heard them and they need a lot of crossover work, some equalisation in the bass and phase issues elsewhere - an 'on going' project - promising, but not there yet.

Had you followed the build thread on wigwam you would have seen his measurements in room ( his room ) not a hotel room. Criticism is unfair imo considering the circumstances. If you haven't got something nice to stay its better not to say anything unless the owner asks for an opinion.

If the owner is going to exhibit it publicly then he has to expect that there will be comments made. I mean what are we, fragile little children who have to be protected from criticism? I bet he would not be at all bothered and would be grateful for any constructive comments.

    Some difference of opinion then...

Seriously don't understand why anyone would be precious about their system. I'd rather have people tell me what is wrong with it than just tell me it is good. I have a pal who will come round and give his honest verdict for me anytime I ask him to. Invaluable. Too easy to kid yourself on in this game.

    Hear, hear!

Being a delicate little flower, who can't take criticism, helps no-one. Mark's comment was nothing but honest and constructive, and should therefore have been recognised as such.

I've followed the construction thread on the Wam and it's very interesting and promising. However, as I understand it, they are a work in progress and that is how they sounded to me - and for the reasons given.

Many thanks Marco et al., you are correct in you interpretation of my intent; I'm sorry that it should be construed otherwise, apologies for the confusion.

I was stood right at the back, back to the window. I never listened in any of the seated positions, maybe that was the difference.
