Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone from AoS that visited/exhibited at the show. I know a lot of us are members across other forums but there was such a great response I opened up a Scalford 2018 exhibitor list thread already and within 2 or 3 days since the show 33 have booked a room, its a huge response. I'm going to try and expand the amount of rooms available at the Hotel and perhaps dedicate a section to AoS if there is enough interest as I will invite other forums to do also. Although it has always been HFWW I think we all know its about showing HiFi and as far as I'm concerned 'everyone' is totally welcome. So for those of you who haven't seen the thread please get your names down to exhibit next year. Thank you.

Can you do a park and ride from Stoke-on Trent so I can come along? Place is a right pain in the arse to get to and from by train in one day, and because the show is on you can't stay overnight in the hotel itself.

I didn't check this year but have in previous years and been told by the hotel that it is a no-go.

I did go in 2012 but got a lift there and back.

    That's what we're missing!

    Marco.
I only ever went to one edition of Scallywag. The one with your system.

Still waiting for Wam TV... maybe that'll hold some decent coverage.

Looking at existing pics, I would really like to have heard those huge aluminium OBs. They look awesome and as though they can displace some serious air. Which I am sure they can.

The Wam holds the rooms until all exhibitors have rooms then they release the rest , there is usually a thread . This year was slightly different in that you booked a room on the Wam and not with the hotel.

Right -if I'd known that I would have gone. Would need to stop the Saturday and Sunday nights and go home on the Monday, you see. Otherwise it is too much of a ballache.

That is what I have done the last 6 times , I've never exhibited , only one year was I very close to not getting a room , could be like that next year though the exhibitors 2018 thread has already started.
