    Default Alan Firebottle... What a bloke!!!

    Just a quick shout out on what Alan has done for me today.

    I purchased a Transcendent Sound Phonostage kit a few weeks ago off ebay.
    Had a crack at building it myself took me almost two days, double checking cap values etc etc. I was a bit disappointed when I hooked it up, I had power but no sound

    I got in touch with Alan and he told me to take it round his, an hour or so later it was up and running, he even changed a couple of cap's and put a red led in for me to match my AIR power amp and all this free of charge. Had a chance to listen to his fantastic system again too which was a big bonus!!

    I've not had chance to listen yet as the Mrs has got crappy Sat night tv on, but in a while it's my time... Yeah baby!!

    So thanks again Alan, one of audio's good guy's

    Was face down in the mud in 'Nam...Alan pulled me out and got me home.

    That...and looking after me when I bought my Phonostage and subsequently needed it customised to suit my Cart all added up to said Mr Firebottle being a "Top Chap".
    Good guy, maybe I'll be able to buy him a fruit based soft drink one of these days...

    He's a good chap. As you say, very helpful and just a nice guy to be around. The last time I saw him believe it or not was over breakfast the morning after Mibo. I wouldn't mind a try of that awfully nice phono stage of his.

    Alan is indeed a top chap! He noticed my speakers were out of phase within about 2 minutes of hearing my setup
