For me, there can be no "immoral wealth" for those who have fairly and legally earned it. In terms of "fairly", I hate the fuckers who backstab their way to the top, and will do anything to further their 'status', whilst making lots of enemies in the process - but that aside, good luck to anyone who finds themselves in the happy position of being 'super rich'
*However*, there still exists the question of greed.
Their fortune may not have been amassed unfairly or immorally, but there's only so much money any one person or family can spend, so once you've bought your big mansion (and/or multiple residences throughout the world), the cars, the 100ft yachts, etc, etc, and live the life of a king, yet STILL have tens of millions lying 'spare', and simply hoard it for the sake if it, *that*, IMO, is when GREED comes into it.
And there are plenty of people in the world who come into that category. What I'm saying is that those who qualify should be made to give their 'spare cash' to some form of charity, but only if they don't already contribute significantly in that way. If they did, then they would be exempt from making any such further contributions.
I can honestly say, hand on heart, that if I were in that position, I could not go to sleep at night knowing I had all that money spare, whilst millions are starving to death, with no roofs over their heads.
I just couldn't do it, so it would be given away tout suite - *but* very carefully distributed to the right places, so that I was 100% certain the money was going directly to those who need it, and not sunk into the pockets of the corrupt, as happens all too often with some so-called 'charity organisations'!
In fact, I'd probably use the opportunity to take a holiday and visit some of the places in Africa, etc, most in need of help, and monitor how well my money was being spent... I'd see it as an interesting and challenging project to take on, and also extremely satisfying watching how I was making a difference and improving the lives of some of the world's most disadvantaged
Marco.
