    An aside which comes to mind after reading that.

    As the article says, "Vibrato is the up-down oscillation in pitch ..." Which is f.m.

    The movable arm on a guitar is called a tremolo arm. But it doesn't produce tremolo, which is a.m. It produces f.m.

    Do Class D amplifiers seem to tread a path somewhere between amplitude modulation and frequency modulation?
