    I heard Alans monoblocks at his place 2 weeks ago and they sounded ( and looked ) superb . I've been '' plotting ' on how to get the money to buy them ever since

    Nice, I've always liked the brushed look on casework. I miss the glowing valve of your proto, but guess that could be a safey issue.

    If this is one of the mono blocks Alan is building for me, I asked him to place the valve internally so that my Daughter cannot touch it.

    I believe Alan decided to put them internally anyway so they could be stacked if needed. This may have changed since we spoke though.

    That would be another good reason.
    I will miss out on seeing the valve glow, but it is a small price to,pay for the sound quality that these should deliver.

    Perhaps Alan could install one of these in each amp.
