Perhaps, with a little thought and ingenuity, the ribbon diaphragms could be replicated or repaired. They are just aluminium foil. The thickness would need measuring. A means of corrugating them as per original should be possible. There are probably several ways to terminate them conductively.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
