Watched the Queen docs last night....I had a lump in my throat at the end when Freddie was dying. Such a waste and he was aware he was walking on coals with his promiscuous lifestyle. Still sad though.. he was a great talent.

Now that's worth staying up for, especially if it was originally presented by Anne Nightingale .

    Cool

Sadly no 38 Special, Outlaws or Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet but still great stuff particularly I see that Still Water will be featured on one of them programs.

Not really music related, so perhaps not the right thread, but I didn't want to start a second BBC4 topic.
Anyway, I know there are fans here of programs such as The Killing and Wallander etc... starting tonight BBC4 are screening a new Scandi-crime drama called The Bridge.

"Crime drama in which a bi-national police team is put together to investigate when the body of a woman is found in the middle of the Oresund Bridge between Sweden and Denmark"
In Swedish and Danish with English subtitles.

    'The Bridge'
    Parts 1 & 2 tonight

    9.00pm & 10.00pm
    On BBC4 and BBC HD

    I'll be watching!

I've really got in to all the foreign language dramas BBC4 have served up. Have now read all the Wallender novels, and Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole books - these are great.

We tend to shy away from the TV in this house, but we watched both episodes last night & thought it was excellent.
