Memory refresh. Where do the spike nuts go on Mana ?

Do spike nuts on Mana go above or below the cross members or does it depend whether upward or downward facing or under glass or board or does it depend whether on stages and frames or on racks ? Crikey that´s quite a good few possible variables. I think they should go under the metal on downward facing spikes and above the metal on upward facing spikes into glass but I just wanted to check mine are OK when I set-up my pile again after cleaning the mountain of dust that has collected over the years.

I don't think I have ever seen any Mana stands/racks, but on general principles, if the nuts you are referring to are locknuts (to prevent the spike from winding further into, or out of, the metal frame), then your supposition is correct. Nip the locknuts up tightly against the metal frame below the frame when the spikes are pointing down, and above the frame when they point up. Good luck.
