Default FS: Vintage Yamaha C4/M4 pre & power amps

Yamaha C4 pre-amp and M4 power amp from 1980. Excellent built-in mc/mm phono stage on the pre-amp. The power amp is conservatively rated at 100w/8 ohms. Cosmetically they are in timewarp condition, virtually mint - a very strong 9/10. £650 ono.

I bought these 220v amps in the autumn of 2015. The pre-amp had been serviced about 1 year earlier by the previous owner. I had the power amp serviced soon after purchase. The power amp has had a new power switch, new speaker relays and the gain pots have been cleaned. Also the PS smoothing caps have been bypassed with a film cap. Receipts available. Both amps work flawlessly.

With a combined weight around 28kg these are collection only or I can deliver in the Glasgow area.

Thanks Oliver. I'm sorry to report that the Sony tt will be with me to the grave. I suspect it'll be me that expires first

I'm half way in distance Marc, so give me half the money and I'll have them

GLWS Paul, I don't suspect it will take long.
