Wtd Faulty/broken amps/other audio equipment

Dang - my Marantz PM7200 cuts out after 5 minutes. I love this amp, but it's no good to me like this.

I acquired this as non-working as it was going to be thrown out and I was hoping to fix this myself to give to my brother-in-law. There's quite a lot to read about these amps on the interweb and seem worth fixing. ( I used to have the KI version)

It powers on briefly but then the LED dims as the capacitors drain. There's no click from the relay so the protection circuit (?) doesn't engage. I changed a few resistors that looked like they had been getting hot, but I suspect that was caused by the transistors. I tested a few of them but they seemed OK, I haven't tested those on the heat-sink yet

But that's about the extent of my ability. Please let me know if its of interest to you.
