Garrard 401 / SME
This is a fully stripped and rebuilt Garrard 401 , the motor has been stripped bearings removed and oiled as well as new felt washers and all motor suspension springs were renewed .
The deck was stripped and resprayed , and the platter cleaned and resprayed .. and has a Pure sound Tenuto platter Matt
The Arm is a modified 3009 to a 12" internally rewired with solid core 99.99% silver wires , and is hard wired to the silver plated Phono connectors ..
The plinth is laminated MDF with has been veneered (epoxied not iron on ) with burr oak and lacquered.
It has a 5 mm the Perspex lid that hinges and is removable .
The feet are Track Audio turntable isolation feet .
It will be supplied with an SME headshell but no cartridge .. ( not cartridge and headshell in the pic)
It is currently part of my system so can be heard and I would rather buyer collects ..
I may be able to deliver anywhere along and south of the M4 .
I will post internationally . it will be very well wrapped , but it will be at buyers risk .. though I have never had any problems before ..
I'm looking at £2850 for this beauty..
