Hello from West Wales
Just moved (from near Tay Castle) to a new life and got a JVC AX-1 vintage and Castle Tay speakers on Ebay. This transformed old cds classical, world and rock into a whole new scene. They replaced a basic Cambridge and v old Morantz speakers - they still worked with no outer suspension! My brother is a lifetime speaker builder but some really good speakers can be had, he got some big Canadian ones.
