    Default A lad insane

Yesterday I bought the latest vinyl reissue of Bowie's Aladdin Sane after many years of owning a rather dull, crap version on CD. The sound of the new vinyl is bloody excellent. Really crisp and sharp with a really good stereo separation. Back in '73 I had a fiver in my pocket to spend on a vinyl record and this was to be the one, however, I came away with Every Picture Tells a Story by Rod Stewart. I never did get that vinyl of Aladdin Sane until yesterday. The price of Rod Stewart...? Three pounds fifty. The price of Aladdin Sane...? Twenty quid. Not bad for forty odd years later.

Oh yeah, favourite track...? Drive In Saturday of course. I remember the seven inch single when I was fourteen years old. Loved those Mini Moog swishes and swoops.

    Great album.
Still got my original vinyl (reissue) and it sounds good.
