    There's a difference between saying this sounds better, and explaining why with what amounts to a conspiracy theory.

    I've got flatwounds on my bass but I can't make them sound like Steve Harris does. There's no electronic theory involved there.

    It's the mirror pickguard that makes the difference

    This stuff scored 4.7/5.0 on Amazon.

    I've got a 100 feet. I can bi-wire both speakers and still have about 18 feet of slack for adjusting speaker placement after it burns in for about 200 hours. That should give me a good baseline to work from.
