The case is of a high quality, and I guess that the plaque covers the volume control area. The plaque is also good quality, and does not come across well in the photos.

When the music is playing it is easy to forget this really minor point.
Maybe the logo discs could be replaced with a "mock" volume control and a scale that goes up to 11!

Almost a week on, and after a weekend of spinning small and big discs, I think that my upgrade journey is coming to an end. The amplification side is certainly sorted. Realistically, I can't afford to get something that will better this combo until my daughter is much older. Priorities are shifting, and I am still enjoying what these amps do driving my FH3s.

I doubt I will get a 2nd turntable (even though it would be nice to have a Gyro/Orbe or a Nottingham Analogue deck, or maybe an LSD....). My CD player is reasonable, as is the DAC. I may have a bit more of a play with the mains to convince myself it does or does not make a difference, and then it is time to sit back with a glass of a local red or a single malt, and enjoy the tunes.
