    Hi Mark

    Nice web site...well done.

    Hope you don't mind but I think this thread should be in Trade Inspirations rather than Blank Canvas.

    I see there's no specialised components on there like they used to sell!

    What us who like dabbling in re-builds etc are short of.. places like Hifi Collective are ok but i don't like their choices in parts tbh...

    Anyone know what happened to Audio links, skegness i think it was..?

    Thanks Guys.

    We are still building support pages, feedback, etc; this will be finished Jan/Feb.

    Have had some great results with modifications this year, particularly with the Oppo BDP-83 mods, Wadia 170 & Squeezebox Transporter.

    Hi Andre

    We moved out of the component market some time ago to focus on upgrade modifications.

    Hi-Fi Collective have a wide choice at fair prices.

    Hi Mark ... your comment on the Oppo BDp caught my eye as I have been looking at it as I am going Universal with my CD system .. The reviews of the standard machine were fantastic relative to it's price and I heard upgrades were possible .. I saw some on Ebay but I don't know enough to tell if I am getting value for money .. I would be grateful for some info on what you can do with the Oppo .. And can you supply a fully modded machine region free.. or would I need to buy my own first .. PM or email me by all means ..

    Merry xmas

    Hi Brian

    The Oppo BDP-83 is a terrific Blu-ray player with exceptional CD/SACD sound when modified. Full details of the upgrades can be found here;

    Oppo BDP-83 Modifications

    Oppo BDP-83SE Modifications

    We can also supply the players with region free & upgrades pre-installed.

    Pricing for the BDP-83SE is still to be confirmed but check back later next week.
