I've owned both. I have a suspicion the Era Gold V is the more musical unit and I loved mine while I had it. The Reflex M offers a tiny bit more detail, but to be honest, They are pretty close. The PSU1 is worth having, but both sound very good on the basic power supply.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Do you supply them finished, or do we need to supply you with the donor unit?

Graham Slee runs a home loan program, so you could borrow both and see which you prefer?

I've used the Graham Slee loan programme and can testify it works well. Just costs you a bit of postage which isn't unreasonable.

Paying for a finished production item is certainly not paying over the odds especially when that item is a quality product which I know the Slee products are. I have also had experience of items that are 'cobbled' together in someone's garden shed and they are usually no comparison. Of course this is not to suggest that the Arkless unit is such but there are no publicity photo's, no website and no examples for loan.
