    Default New additions this week

I added a few pieces today.
I have two turntables that I love, so I decided a while back that I wanted a preamp that could handle two turntables without a switchbox.
I had no qualms whatsoever with my existing Carver CT-17 preamp, in fact I quite like it; just time for something different.
So after finding a preamp that fits my need at a decent price, I went for it.
Not my first choice, but I like it so far: my new SAE PA-10 preamp.
Also picked up a nice looking Pioneer TX-6800 tuner.
Here they are as of yesterday on my text bench (bar):

    Thanks Audio Al.
It's a very clean looking piece, and works well.
However, I may swap it out when I find a TX800.

When you say "clean looking" you mean from a layout point of view?

The dust nazis are out in force.

Dust shows a sensible set of priorities. And it adds character to a system.

Ohh, give it a wipe then.

Dust is a natural thing to have around. I have to shovel it aside even to reach the Hi-Fi.
