Hi everyone, I'm Paul from Wigan, Lancashire.
someone recommended this forum to me as I put post on a Facebook page for something I wanted,
Will just tell you all a little bit about my HiFi,

I currently have an Inca Tech The Claymore amplifier that I purchased last year, I then sent it off to Colin Wonfor to inspect and upgrade, it's the second one I've owned in fact, I stupidly sold the first one I had about 12 years ago

Technics sl1210 mk5 fitted with a Mission 774lc tonearm that I want to swap back to original technics arm (the reason I am on this forum) AT440MLb but that's for sale, haven't decided what to replace it with yet.

Rega planet Mk1 CD player currently put away at the moment along with the matching Mira ampflifier.

    Kef Calinda speakers

    Cheers

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    Hello Paul. Welcome to AOS.

This is the place to be if you have an interest in the Technics SL-1200/SL-1210. Check out the Techipedia section in Analogue Arts.

Take a look around the site, there's plenty going on and feel free to join in the chat.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
