    I had and enjoyed the Ortofon Jubilee that predeeded it ... but of the later ones, preferred the Cadenza Blue seemed to have more life about it.

    Hi Tom, I've done extensive on these carts by that I mean read and read tons plus discussed with users etc.

    I actually wanted a Jubilee but then the Cadenza Black arrived which is always expressed as having all the great qualities of the Jubilee but better / more dynamic.

    The Jubilee was highly regarded / respected cart with great qualities but a negative sometimes expressed was that it could maybe sound a little laid back or reticent at times like you needed to turn it up a bit.

    Having had both the other current flagship Ortofon Shibata clad cartridges - 2M Black and Quintet Black, I'm in no doubt that I'd find the Cadenza B an outstanding performer - It's on my hifi bucket list
