Default Recommend a Book on Pop Music History

I'm looking for a book on modern music history, say from the 1950's to present day, with a story of the evolution of music, the recording techniques used and examples of the styles and songs throughout the period.

    What's good out there?

    Cheers

    Hi Lee
The members area has some great material about recording studios http://theartofsound.net/forum/forum...usic-and-Sound

I could not think of a better place to recommend.

    Cheers / Chris
