This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They don't take any of me, they don't come out, there's just a faint misty blur. I don't reflect in mirrors either .
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

We want to continue growing our own food when we move. Orkney is doing quite well at the mo, looks nice. We just need a couple of acres and some room for a slot track for me and a short mat bowls area for Ronnie. She's the gardner too and a nice lack of grass would be good so I don't have to keep up that side of our agreement!

Have to finish the house here first, up to my eyes in sawdust today, doing partitions up in the attic so we can pretend it's a 4 to 5 bedroom house!
If you don't like the heat you want to move here. We had one properly hot day last year. Some years we don't get any. Cheap houses compared to the rest of UK too. I bet you could buy half my street for what your French place is worth. We could be neighbours.

Orkney's very nice but the capital, Kirkwall, can be well dodgy on a Fri or Sat night! Unless you consider rampaging gangs of drunken yobs a plus point of course...

It was minus 9 yesterday morning. It is supposed to be warming up here tomorrow, with a mere minus 1 forecast.
