Default For Sale: Technics SL-1210 M3D

This is a very nice example of an M3D (which is essentially the same as the Mk5). I purchased it a couple of years ago. Prior to that, it had one owner from new (2001), and was used exclusively in a home system.

It's in excellent cosmetic condition, with only some very light marks on the left hand edge (see photos). The marks are only visible on close inspection, and not at all from the front of the turntable. Short of NOS, this is one of the best I've seen cosmetically, and it took me a while to find. The perspex lid is in great condition with some light surface wear but absolutely no cracks or damage.

I had fitted an SME 309 to the turntable, so I have cut away some of the rubber base directly below the arm to provide clearance for the connector. It's a neat job. Excellent with the standard arm, but ready suited for an arm upgrade.

It comes with the original box but not the packaging, so this would have to be collection or meet up only. It also includes the original user manual, rubber and slip maps, tonearm weights, and headshell. Cartridge not included.

    Asking £500 o.n.o.

Try Ctrl+F5. I had the same issue but they're now showing (I didn't change anything).

Very nice looking Turntable. I often think I'd like to put a mission 774 on one and see what it can do.
